St. Enda's Community School

St. Enda's is priveliged to be associated with the "First Tee" Golf Programme in Rathbane Golf Club. All students experience the game of golf as part of the P.E. programme. St. Enda's School is across the road from the Golf Club and many students have opted for membership of the club.

Since our first association with the "First Tee Golf Programme" 4 years ago, a number of our students have had the opportunity to visit the "K Club" and "Lutterstown Castle" for 1 day golfing events.

Other students have assisted as volunteers in the "Irish Open" 2007 and 2008 in Adare Manor and in the summer of 2008 one of our students represented Ireland in the "Barclays Cup" in Boston.

We look forward to many future opportunities in our partnership with "First Tee" aith golf pros Barbara Hackett and John Coyle. Congratulations to our P.E. Teacher, Ms. T. Keyes, for coordinating a very successful and popular programme.
